Orlando Nkrumah Wynter
Orlando Nkrumah Wynter, Managing Director of Wynters Construction and Maintenance Services Company Limited (WCMS), a second generation contractor, who from an early age developed a zest for building construction through his father, the late Linton O. Wynter. Orlando has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience working alongside his father from a tender age. His father worked extensively throughout the country and has left an excellent track record with the likes of The National Housing Trust, Sugar Company of Jamaica and a host of private entities.
Orlando holds his certification in Principles and Practices of Project Management from the Mona School of Business. He has worked primarily in Jamaica, but has also contributed to construction within Aruba where he supervised the renovation of the Aruba International Airport and also in the United States –Fort Lauderdale where he supervised renovation and expansion work.
In recent years, Orlando has been a guest on several radio talk shows including Dorraine Sammuels’ morning programme during the segment of the business of insurance and on Real Estate Today on Mello FM where the ‘Take Six Challenge’-Orlando’s brain child geared towards hurricane preparedness and pro activity as it relates to building maintenance were discussed in detail. Orlando is always willing to share or lend support as it relates to his knowledge and expertise.
